Mix 2 cups sugar and 2 cups flour together
In saucepan, melt 2 cube butter, ½ cup shortening, 1 cup water, 1 Tbsp cocoa;
Bring to a boil and pour over flour and sugar mixture.
Blend. Stir in 2 beaten eggs, ½ cup buttermilk, 1 tsp soda, ½ tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla.
Mix well with spoon and pour into 13 x 9 inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 30-35 min.
Cool and frost with following icing.

Icing

Bring to boil and pour over 1 box of powdered sugar.
Add vanilla to taste.
Stir well and frost while frosting is still hot.
