Grandma Middleton’s Pie Crust
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup shortening
- ½ tsp salt
- 1/4 cup water or enough to moisten
Cut with pastry cutter about 150 strokes.
More cuts will make the pie crust tough and hard.
Bake at 425° for about 5-8 minutes.
Should be very light in color.
