Tarts Alsace
- 1 pkg pie crust mix
- ½ lb ground beef or sausage
- 1 1/3 cups shredded swiss cheese
- 6 green onions sliced
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/3 cups sour cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Paprika
Prepare pastry as directed on package.
Roll half pastry 1/16" thick.
Cut into nine 4-inch rounds.
Repeat.
Ease rounds into muffin cups (ungreased).
Heat oven to 375°.
Cook and stir beef until light brown; drain.
Mix beef, cheese, onions.
Fill pastry lined muffin cups half full with beef mixture.
Mix eggs, sour cream salt, Worcestershire sauce & pepper.
Spoon about 2 Tbs. of this mixture into each muffin cup.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake until golden brown about 20 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes.
Serve warm
Makes 1 1/2 dozen tarts
