White Sauce
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- ½ tsp salt
- few grains pepper
Melt butter, blend in flour; gradually add milk.
Cook over hot water, stirring constantly, until thick.
Add salt and pepper.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
For thin white sauce, use just 1 Tbs butter and 1 Tbs flour.
